Sheree Lynn Ayres

After a courageous battle with cancer, Sheree returned to the Lord for her eternal rest on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at age 41.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 16, 2016 at the New Lothrop Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, September 15 at Nelson-House Funeral Homes New Lothrop Chapel.
Sheree was born on September 21, 1974 to Allan and Sandra (Rushton) Ayres in Owosso; she was born and raised in the Flushing countryside, and she graduated from New Lothrop High School.

Sheree was always known as the “small but mighty” one. She had a passion for living life and pursued it without fear or hesitation. Her outgoing personality was contagious, and she made new friends wherever she went. Sheree was a lover of all animals, especially horses. She was active in 4-H, she enjoyed NASCAR, and she always liked getting dressed up. She also loved going up north, whether camping or visiting the sand dunes.

Sheree’s pride and joy was her son, Andrew. She was a dedicated mother and had a genuine bond with her son that was quickly apparent to everyone around them. As a member of a closely knit family, her absence will always be heavy on their hearts. Sheree was a fun-loving big sister and aunt.

She will be deeply missed by her son, Andrew; her parents, Allan and Sandra Ayres; her sisters, Allison (Rich) Fleming and Alisha Ayres; her nieces, Alaina Fleming and Kennedy Ayres; her nephew, Evan Fleming; and her aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She is predeceased by her brother, Timmy Ayres.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
