Jim Davis Cooper, Jr., 52, of Midway, Georgia, died Tuesday morning, October 25, 2016, at Memorial University Medical Center.

Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of Diane Cannon Harper and the late Jim Davis Cooper, Sr.

Jim was raised at Bethesda Home for Boys (now Bethesda Academy) and graduated from Jenkins High School. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Lee Cooper.

Surviving are his daughter, Miranda F. of Florida; his mother, Diane Cannon Harper of Midway; his identical twin brother, John Davis Cooper.

A memorial service will be held at 11 o’clock Friday morning in the chapel at Bethesda Academy.
