Ronald R. Decker, age 63, died Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at his home in Garden City, KS. He was born June 21, 1951 in Imperial, Nebraska the son of Harold L. and Shirley Follett Decker. A resident of Garden City since 1985, he was a stocker for Wal-Mart and a U.S. Navy veteran.On June 19, 1971, he married Barbara Jean Myers in McCook, Nebraska. She survives.Other Survivors Include:Two Daughters, Brenda Decker of Garden City, Kansas and Claudia Cardenas of Garden City, Kansas;His Parents, Harold & Sonja Decker of McCook, Nebraska;Three Brothers, Dennis Decker Sr. of McCook, Nebraska, Dennis Grabast of Omaha, Nebraska, and Doug Decker of New Jersey;One Sister, Kathie Connell of Missouri;Fifteen Grandchildren and Three Great-Grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Grabast, a daughter, Robin Schaefer and a grandson, Benjamin Scott Gaines.Memorial Services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Eagles Lodge in Garden City, Kansas.There will be no calling times at the funeral home.Inurnment will be held at a later date in the Riverview Cemetery in McCook, Nebraska.Memorials may be given to the Ronald Decker Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
