Maria P. Cooper, age 92, of Black River Falls, Wisconsin died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014 in Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Maria was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on July 26, 1922 to Locio and Primetiva (Pasco) Padelio. She married Roy Cooper and he preceded her in death.
Maria lived in Hawaii, the Philippines, California, Nevada, and moved to Black River Falls two years ago to be near her family.
She enjoyed sewing by hand, cooking, gardening, traveling, and raising her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Surviving are her son, Reynald Pedillo Cooper, Black River Falls, 8-grandchildren, and 15-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 2-sons, Robert and Roy Cooper, Jr., 1-daughter-in-law, Antonia Cooper, and 1-brother and 3-sisters.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Buswell Funeral Home, Black River Falls. Services will be conducted by Mr. Kevin Newell and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Black River Falls.
