Lilly Ann Nielsen was born July 19, 2015, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. She passed away on the day of her birth. She was 14" long, weighing only 2 pounds. She was two months premature.
Her mother, Ashley Nielsen of Blair, said she rocked her baby for a few hours, and that her little one was baptized into the Lutheran church.
Also surviving Lilly are her grandparents: Todd and Denise Nielsen of Blair, Shannon Nielsen and David Stonerook of Omaha; great-grandparents: Gene Nielsen and the late Nancy Nielsen of Blair, Jim and Sue Thill of Omaha; aunts: Lisa Hansen of Blair, Breanna Thomas of Omaha, Heather Veeder of Blair, Olivia Stonerook of Omaha; uncles: Nick Nielsen of Omaha, Shawn Gore of Omaha, Jeff Nielsen of Elkhorn; cousins: Gena and Derek Hansen of Blair.
She is buried in the baby section of the Blair, Nebraska cemetery.
