Jean L. Miotke, 55, of Lexington Twp., passed away on January 21, 2017 in Henry Ford Hospital Detroit after a short illness with her family by her side.
She was born on March 9, 1961 in Detroit.
Jean married Brian F. Miotke on November 8, 1986 in Detroit.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Jean was a Registered Nurse at Lake Huron Medical Center. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, wool making and gardening.
Jean is survived by her husband, Brian Miotke of Lexington Twp.; daughter, Melanie Miotke of Lexington; son, Ryan Miotke of Lexington; son, Brandon Miotke of Lexington; granddaughter, Serina Miotke of Lexington; father, Douglas Plom of Tennessee; sister, Janice Bailey of Fort Gratiot; brother and sister-in-law, Chris (Cheryl) Plom of Applegate and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley and her stepmother, Sue Plom.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday in the Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Ave., Port Huron.
Visiting hours will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home.
