Actress. Born Eugenia Castagnola, she is also remembered for her relationship with the actor Antonio De Curtis, know as "Totò". During her successful career throughout Europe, she gained a reputation as femme fatale because of some tempestuous love affairs with important men of that time. After performing in Paris, she returned to Italy at the Teatro Santa Lucia and Teatro Nuovo in Naples. Liliana committed suicide at the age of thirty-five.
