Raeford Allen, 87, of Laurinburg, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009. He was the son of Tommy and Dovie Holmes Allen. He was preceded in death by his Parents, brothers, William Allen, Johnny Allen and Fred Allen; and sisters, Josephine Snead, Estelle Hayes and Addie Wilson. He is survived by: Wife, Faye; daughter, Joyce Bressler; sons, Johnny, James, Ronnie and John; brother, Layton; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Services: Funeral, 11 a.m. Wednesday in Richard Boles Funeral Service chapel in Laurinburg. Burial in Oak Grove Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation, 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
