Daughter of Carroll Smith Fisher and Mary Lillian Parker. She married Wilmer Kersey Benson, Sr, on 31 January 1906, and was a devoted wife and mother. They lived at 114 Pine Street, Wyoming, Delaware all of their life, until she was unable to care for herself, and moved into a private nursing home in Dover, Delaware, in 1975, at the insistence of her family. She had two children: Lillian Fisher Benson (born 18 Dec 1906, died 30 June 1990) and Wilmer Kersey Benson, Jr (born 2 Nov 1915, died 19 July 1999). She devoted herself to her family and to the Wyoming Methodist Church. She is buried next to her husband, in the Benson Family Plot, in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, off Route 13, near Camden, Delaware.

Above the names is the Mason Symbol, of which Wilmer K. Benson was a 32 degree Mason. Also on the marker is their daughter, Lillian Benson Maden.
