Robert Lin Deel, infant son of Darrell Lin Deel and Wanda Gay Welch, died in Big Spring, Texas at 12:08 p.m. Sunday, October 1, 1972. He was three days old. He was born on September 29, 1972.

He had three siblings: Teresa Ann Deel, Pamela Kay Deel, and James Lin "Jim" Deel.

He was the grandson of Lindsey Graves Deel and Fern Louise Calvert Deel.

Graveside Rites
For Deel Baby

Graveside services were held at Trinity Memorial Park 2 p.m. Monday for Robert Lin Deel, 2-day-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Deel, Big Spring. The baby died Sunday in a local hospital.
The Rev. Collins Moore, pastor of Hillcrest Baptist, officiated, and Nalley-Pickle Funeral Home was in charge of interment.
Survivors include the parents, two sisters, Teresa Ann and Pamela Kay, and one brother, James Lin. Other survivors include the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Deel, Coahoma and Mr. and Mrs. James Lolidier, Big Spring, and great-grandparents, Henry Parker, Farmersville, La., and Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Calvert, Okolona, Ark.
