One of 13 Philadelphia firefighters who died in the horrendous Friedlander Leather Remnants factory fire on December 21st and 22nd, 1910. The walls of the factory collapsed on the firefighters. The fire remains the worst death toll in Philadelphia Fire Department history.

A., are invited to attend the funeral, on Sunday, December 25, at 2 P. M., from his late residence, 4519 Fairmount Ave. Interment at Montrose Cemetery."
