Jacob J. Fudge

Jacob J. Fudge was born near Chariton, Iowa, Aug. 22, 1866, and died at Piedmont, Kansas, June 12, 1915, aged 48 years, 9 months and 21 days.

At the age of 13 years he came with his parents to reside on a farm northeast of Severy, ear which place and at Piedmont most of his life has been spent. He was married to Sarah Harris July 8, 1886. He leaves a son, Oliver, of Chanute, Kansas, his aged mother at Piedmont, four brothers, Mory, of Timber Lake, South Dakota, Wm. D., of Augusta, George and Lawrence of Piedmont, Mrs. W.J. Templeton of Hutchinson, and Mrs. Ernest Copeland of Ruth, Nevada, all of whom were at his bedside during his illness except the two who live so far away.

He made a confession of Christ a few days before his death.

"He giveth His beloved rest."

Funeral at Piedmont Sunday afternoon June 13. Interment in Twin Groves cemetery at Severy.
