Services for Minnie Norwood were Thursday at Pafford Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Beecham officiating. Burial was in Center Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Norwood, who was 88, died Tuesday night at the Lexington Methodist Hospital.
She was a homemaker and the widow of Clifford Norwood.
She leaves two sons, Leon Norwood of Lexington and Odie Norwood of Memphis; a daughter, Mrs. Martha Darrough of Nashville; five half-sisters, Mrs. Thelma Singleton, Mrs. Exel Tart, both of Lexington, Mrs. Verl Sloan of Jackson, Mrs. Geraldine Easter of Illinois and Mrs. Connie Sue Climer of Henderson; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
