Jane E. Phillips, Galesburg Chapel 51 of Galesburg died at 4:10 pm Thursday, September 10, 2015 in Galesburg.

She was born May 2, 1964 in Galesburg the daughter of Jerry D. and Alice L. Parsons Hollingsworth. She married Jeffery R. Phillips on August 8, 1987 in Galesburg.

She is survived by her parents, Jerry and Alice Hollingsworth of Galesburg; her children, Brandon (and Elizabeth Meador) Phillips, Brianna (and Logan Purcell) and Bailey Phillips all of Galesburg; her brother, Jim Hollingsworth of Galesburg; her three sisters, Julie (and Ron) Morris of Galesburg, Joni (and Bob) Kroeger of Centralia, Illinois; and Jean (and Rick) Wilson of Carterville, Illinois; her two granddaughters, Rylan Purcell and Emma Phillips and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and a host of cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carl and Mamie Hollingsworth and Maude Magnuson.

Jane worked for Western Illinois Real Estate for several years and also was a host supervisor at The Landmark Café. She loved both of her jobs, her co-workers and was well liked by all who worked with her. She always had a smile for everyone she met. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1982. She had attended the First Church of the Nazarene. Jane was very supportive and involved in her children's activities. Her new found love was spending time with her two granddaughters, Emma and Rylan. Jane was very excited about her son's upcoming wedding on October 10, 2015.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Pastor Jordan Knight will officiate. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the chapel. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family c/o Brandon Phillips.
