Robert was born May 1, 1928 in Hammond, Indiana. He lived in East Galesburg for the last 18 years with his father and step-mother. He worked as a bookkeeper at Lucky Boy bakery in Galesburg. He was survived by his parents and a sister, Maryanne Cameron, of Galesburg.
Funeral services were held at the Klinck Chapel in Knoxville and burial was in the Knoxville Cemetery.
He was killed in an auto accident that also killed Billy Roe.
