Leslie Karen "Sissy" Slaughter Fitzgerald, 41, employee of Real World Tours and resident of the Williamsport Community, died Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Burial will be in West Point Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The Giles County native was the daughter of Earlene Phaye Fowler Slaughter Pipkin of Williamsport and the late Lester Slaughter. She was former secretary at Hampshire School and enjoyed working in her flower garden and weekends at the Tennessee River with family and friends. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Buck & Hattie Scott Slaughter; Grady & Lula Bell Fowler; and pet Chase.
