47, of Hammond, LA died at 6:50 PM Friday March 12, 2010 in Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, LA.
She was born July 21, 1962 in Galesburg the daughter of Patrick E. and V. Faye Wenn Napier.
Kandi is survived by her mother Faye Napier of Galesburg, her father Pat Napier of Lake Bracken and Robert E. and Carol Mitchell of Knoxville, IL; two grandmothers Roberta Napier of Galesburg and Darlene Robertson of Alexis, IL; her siblings Annette and Craig Stancomb of Mankato, MN and Denny and Cindy Napier of Galesburg; two half sisters Bobbi Jo and Alan Satunas of Knoxville, IL and Brenda and Dave Ruppert of Knoxville, IL; several aunts, uncles, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kandi graduated from Galesburg High School in 1982. She was raised in Galesburg before moving to Chicago. She worked as an account coordinator for Clinique Cosmetics for 16 years in Chicago, Kennesaw, GA. and Hammond, LA. She loved scrap booking and was an extreme pet lover. She was a big inspiration in people's life's which led some people to call her "Sunshine".
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4 PM Saturday April 24, 2010 at the Galesburg Labor Temple. Cremation was conducted with a private family graveside service at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the family.
