|Death: ||Aug. 27, 2002|
Beloved Wife of Colonel Derosey Carroll Cabell III, and mother of four children: Ann Noel Cabell, Carol Cabell, Robert Brownson Cabell, and Michael John Cabell.
Her parents were Robert M. Rubush and Virginia Brown Rubush. Affectionately known as Ginia, she loved to play bridge. She centered herself around her family, and followed her husband in his many wanderings of his military career. She obtained her private pilot's license so that she could join her aviator husband in his travels. When he retired from the Army in 1974, and began work for Bell Helicopters in Iran, she went with him. They had to be evacuated in late 1979, when the pro-American government of Iran was overthrown by the pro-Islamic Iranian Revolution. They lost all of their household goods when they evacuated. She was also a teacher, and loved to ride horses.
She was nicknamed Ginia to distinguish her from her husband's sister, who was also named Virginia, nicknamed Gidge.
