My Great Grandfather.Son of John W & Ann (Matthews) Clark.Brother of Rosanna, Celia & James F.Married Ellen "Lena" McSweeney on January 31, 1907 in Brockton, MA.Father of Rose, John, Evelyn, Florence, Anne & Ralph.Brockton Police Officer (1913 - 1943).His two sons also would become Brockton Police Officers.My Great Grandfather started out working in the Brockton shoe factories. Brockton was known as "Shoe City" & most men, women & even children were employed in the booming shoe industry.Grandpa took much pride in the Clark Family home at 18 Wellington Place. He enjoyed planting flowers, gardening & kept his yard in immaculate condition always.

A fire destroyed old burial records for St. Patrick's & Calvary Cemeteries. Sadly, any records before the year 1930 are now forever lost.
