Bobbie Dean Bailey, 15, Rogersville, passed away at 2:15 a.m. Sunday, August 15, 2004, in his home, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born September 29, 1988, in Springfield, the son of Max A. and Deborah S. (Greene) Bailey. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Bob Bailey, Buck Coomer, and Marion Greene; and an uncle, Thomas E. (Ed) Bailey. Bobbie would have been a sophomore at Logan-Rogersviile High School this fall. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, music and trucks. He never knew a stranger and fought a gallant fight with cancer meeting all obstacles head-on. He was an amazing son who never complained about anything and was loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his mother, Debbie Bailey, Springfield; his father, Max Bailey, Rogersville; a sister, Casi Dawn Kent, Rockville, Ind.; his paternal grandmother, Loretta Bailey, Rogersville; his maternal grandmother, Marilynn Coomer, Springfield; two uncles, Mike and Lisa Bailey, Ottawa, Kan., and Danny and Maribelle Bailey, Ozark; his dogs, Buddy and Buster; and many other relatives and friends.
