Shayna Coley, 16, had her life tragically taken away January 2, at the hands of a few thugs, but was reunited for all eternity with her dear mother who was awaiting Shayna's Heavenly arrival.

She was the loving daughter of the late Marie Brown Coley and was born in Statesboro, GA, lived in Evans and at the age of 12, moved to Walterboro, SC, to live with her grandmother.

Shayna endured a lot of pain and suffering in her precious and shortened life and some of this at the hands of her own family member, something that no child should have to endure, EVER! She was a young lady who did not deserve the pain and treatment nor the ending of her young and promising life. Our only solace is that she is forever reunited and living pain free with her dear mother in God's wondrous Kingdom.

She was a member of North Walterboro Baptist Church and was currently a student at Colleton County High School.

She is survived by her grandmother, two brothers, Chase and Taylor Coley, of Claxton and was preceded in death by her mother and by her maternal grandfather Thad Brown.
