She was the beautiful, precious daughter of Ricky A. and Angela S. (Behney) Rife.
Jocelyn was an active member of Freedom Valley Worship Center in Gettysburg, where she was involved in many activities with Simple Youth. She was home schooled by her parents and recently completed her 9th grade level. She was also an employee at McDonald's in Hanover.
She enjoyed volunteering in the children's nursery at her church, hanging out with her family and friends, and dancing around or acting silly just to make people laugh and have fun. Jocelyn had a beautiful smile and loved giving hugs.
In addition to her parents, Jocelyn is survived by three sisters, Chrissa R. Rife and fiancé, Jacob M. Bush, Alisa N. Rife, and Kara J. Rife, of Hanover; maternal grandfather, Irvin N. Behney, Sr., of Phoenix, AZ; paternal grandfather, Charles Rife, Hanover; uncles, Irvin Behney, Jr. of Virginia, Mike Rife, of New Oxford, Tim Rife and wife, Kris, of Gettysburg, John Rife, of New Oxford, and Leroy Rife, of Hanover; cousins, Troy and Kaleigh Behney, Tiffany, Brittany, and Aaron Rife, Madison Krumrine and Stephen Rife, Elizabeth, Anthony, Joshua, Grace, and Rachel Rife, and Kiara Rife; and a wealth of friends.
Jocelyn was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Rebecca A. (Hardy) Behney and paternal grandmother, Patricia A. (Shrader) Rife.
