Robin Chavous Ellisor, of Sumter, wife of Charles Ron Ellisor, died on Friday, December 11, 2009.

Born on July 7, 1947, in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Giles Chavous, Sr. and Agnes Cooper Chavous Hunt.

Mrs. Ellisor graduated from AC Flora High School in 1965 and was employed by Safe Federal Credit Union and Boyle Leasing for many years of loyal service.

She was very proud of her volunteer work with the SPCA caring for abandoned/ill kittens and returning them when of adoptable age.

Mrs. Ellisor is survived by her husband of 39 years, Charles Ron Ellisor of Sumter; two daughters, Kimberly Ellisor of Florence and Stacey Richardson of Sumter; a sister, Deane Chavous of Charleston; a brother, Giles Chavous and wife Irene of Georgia; two grandchildren, Ashley Robin and Logan Richardson of Sumter; and a nephew, Lane Baker of Charleston.

Interment was in Sumter Cemetery.
