SALINAS - Michael Tonne, age 34, passed away on October 23, 2006 as a result of a fatal motorcycle accident. Michael's favorite activities were riding his bike, wakeboarding and snowboarding.
Michael is survived by his two children, Trevor and Ashley Tonne, his aunt and uncle Trisha and Dennis Hanson of Carmel, his two sisters Tamie Barron of Texas and Trisha Ontiveros of San Jose, cousins Susan Hanson of Carmel, Kristy and Greg Cosmero of Monterey, father Ted Tonne, grandfather George Haydock, grandmother Mable Craig, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother, Margaret Tonne.
Michael was a loving father and a special, caring young man who was taken tragically from us and will be in our hearts forever!
Visitation will be held at Mission Mortuary from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2006, after which there will be a motor caravan to the gravesite where services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 18200 Damian Way, Salinas. A reception will be held immediately following the service - directions are available at the service.
