Gizmo was my grandson's cat, was really a family member..For sixteen years she lived in our house with us..we loved her dearly..Andy brought her home when she was six weeks old.. She had been abused where she had lived..She never saw a bad day after she came to my house. We kept her inside away from harm of cars and other animals.
Gizmo was a Siamese Cat. Some times she could have an attitude but she knew we loved her.
She started loosing weight about two months ago, the Vet told us that she was old and her time was running out. She got slower all the time ,on Saturday morning she wasn't able to get out of her bed, I guess you would say she went on Cat Hospice with me as her full time nurse,,Saturday, Sunday and Monday I took care of her She wouldn't eat, I gave her water with a medicine dropper. On Monday evening I talked to her ,she would meow back at me, I told her that Andy would come to be with her when he got off work..She was really weak but she held on so when Andy got there he went to her room and talked to her, she meowed back at him..He stayed with her awhile and then went home..She passed away 20 minutes after he left..She was waiting for Him, he is broken hearted he loved her for 16 years and she will always be in our hearts..
Gizmo we will always miss you girl, I will look for you when I open the door to come in the house.

I want to Thank Barbara Piazza for her sponsorship of Gizmo's Memorial. Thank you so much, your kindness is so much appreciated..This site has some of the most wonderful people on it and Barbara is one of them..Gizmo is honored to have a new friend, her and Spikey will play together at Rainbow Bridge
