Obituary:
Delphine Frances Millette, 94, of Vermillion, South Dakota, passed away at the Sanford Vermillion Hospital of Vermillion on Wednesday, June 20, 2012.

Delphine was born in Linn, Missouri, on October 9, 1917, to John and Lydia (Tillman) Lehman. She married Joseph Phillip Millette on July 12, 1945, in St. Louis, Missouri, and they remained happily married until his passing in 1999.

In her free time Delphine loved to quilt, spend time in her garden, read, and bake. She was also known to be a person to offer a helping hand to anyone that needed it.

Delphine is survived by her children, Nancy (Craig) Edelman of Sioux Falls, SD, and Richard (Linda) Millette of Vermillion, SD; her grandchildren, Shelby Edelman of Sioux Falls, SD, Lisa Terrell of Stamford, TX, Dennis White,Clinton White, and Wallace White all of Lubbock, TX; her great-grandchild, Laramie Terrell; her sisters, Dorothy Boessen of Jefferson City, Mo., Mildred McMichael of Glendale, AZ, and Lorraine Schmich of St. Louis, MO; and her sister-in-law, Teresa Marshall of Carmel, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lydia Lehman; her husband, Joseph Phillip Millette; and her brother, Arthur "Art" Lehman

Visitation:
at St. Agnes Catholic Church 416 South Walker Street Vermillion South Dakota 57069

Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:00 p.m. and a wake service at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2012, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Vermillion.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 25, 2012 at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Fr. John Fischer officiating.

Cemetery:
