After Pal retired,five of his male descendants played the role of Lassie...His three year old son, Lassie Jr. took over the role in 1954..
Lassie 11-Lassie Jr., the only Collie who's
real name was Lassie..
Lassie Jr. played Lassie through the Jeff years and the first two Timmy years... He retired in 1959 to battle cancer and ultimately beat it... He never returned to the show... His son Spook took over the Lassie role..
Lassie -Spook, the son of Lassie Jr..Played Lassie for only six months...Spook appears in the opening credits of the Timmy-era show walking with Timmy...
Lassie 111-Baby, he starred on Lassie for six years.. he died of Cancer in 1966.. he was 8 years old...Starting on the show in the spring of 1960... finishing out the Timmy years of the series...He was on the Ranger shows for two years..Baby was the only Lassie that did not live at least seventeen years...
Lassie IV-Mire, he played Lassie for five years... the Ranger years.. He died at age 19
Lassie V-Hey Hey, he died at age 18
Lassie VI-Boy, the son of Hey Hey ..he died in 1989..
