Harland Ray "Hal" Sutton, 84, of Marysville, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013.

He was born May 17, 1929 in Smiths Creek to the late Ralph and Margaret Sutton. He married Frances Kerr on January 17, 1953 in Port Huron. She died March 29, 2004.

Mr. Sutton retired from Prestolite Wire and also worked on the family farm in Jeddo. He was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Croswell where he sang in the choir for over 40 years.

He is survived by three daughters, Michelle Snyder of Marysville, Debra (Charles) Glombowski of Marysville, and Susan (Arthur) Hall of Sheridan, Montana; a son, Jeff (Coleen) Sutton of Croswell; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters, Donna (Ed) Furstenau of Roscommon and Joy Blumer of Hendersonville, North Carolina; a sister-in-law, Jean (Art) Cook of Port Huron; dear friends, Dot Kinnee and Art Corry; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Robert Snyder; sister-in-law, Louise (Jim) Stephenson; and two brothers-in-law, Wayne Blumer and Donald Kerr.
