Marian Jane Crigger, 68, of Bryant died Saturday, July 5, 2008, in Kenner, La.

She was born April 20, 1940, in Fresno, Calif. to Henry and Katherine Martin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlon "Poss" Crigger on Feb. 5, 2002.

Survivors include s son, Lonnie Crigger of Beaumont, Texas; a daughter, Christina Edwards and husband Brandon of Poyen; three grandchildren, Aaron Lawler and Brandi Crigger, both of Hanford, Calif. and Kaden Edwards of Poyen; two brothers, Robert Martin and wife Evelyn of Pismo Beach, Calif. and Thomas Martin and wife Marjorie of Bass Lake, Calif.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Regency Funeral Home chapel in Malvern.

Marian Martin Crigger was a vibrant and most loving Christian woman. She was taken by the angels on Saturday, July 5, 2008 in Kenner, Louisiana, at the age of 65. She had been battling a long, hard fight with cancer.

Marian was born in Fresno on April 20, 1940, to parents Henry and Katherine Martin from Cadwell, Martin Meat Company in Hanford.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlon Crigger, from Virginia.

Marian is survived by two loving brothers, Tom Martin and wife Marge from Bass Lake and Bob Martin and wife Evelyn from Lemoore. She leaves behind a daughter, Christina Edwards and husband; a beautiful grandson, Kaden; a son, Lonnie Crigger, in Beaumont, Texas; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. And most of all her companion and best friend, Dennis Lambert, who has been by her side.

Marian attended local schools in Hanford. She graduated from Hanford High School in 1958.

She will be truly missed by all her friends and family. Good-bye and keep smiling. You will always be our guardian angel.

Services will be private.
