David was my cousin but he was more than that, he was more like the Brother I never had. David's Mother and My Father were Twins. My Aunt Wilma and Uncle Dick who were married in June of 1957 had tried for almost 8 years to conceive a child with no luck, my parents married in 1964 and first thing you know both women find out the same day from the same doctor that they were expecting. David and I are/were 54 days apart.
As kids he and I were like Mutt and Jeff, always into something, but from family stories I was the meaner one LOL. David and I used to steal my Aunt's cigarettes (L&M Brand) and sneak out to this abandoned lot and crawl under the grape arbor and light up. Sometimes, it was not a wonder the fire department didn't come and think there was a field fire considering there was so much smoke, and stupid us never stopped to think they could smell it on us as we lied and said "us.... smoking?......Never..... Were we innocent. Ya right.
David left this life to go home to God on June 22, 2007 due to the complications of Huntington's Disease. He was 41 years old.
He left behind to cherish his memory his Beloved Mother Mrs. Wilma Harris; his daughter Amber Nicole (Nikki); his Aunt's, Mrs. Georgia Stamm, and Jeanne Wall, as well as a host of cousins that will mourn him deeply.
David's Ashes were interred beside our Grandmother, Mrs. Catherine Wall in Washington Park Cemetery East, Indianapolis, Shirley Brothers Irvington Chapel Handled arrangements.
Along with his Grandmother he was preceded in death by his Father Richard "Dick" Arnold, Aunt Jean Arnold, and Uncle Bill Arnold, Uncle William "Bill" Wall, Aunt Mary Wall, Uncle Carl C. Wall and his all his grandparent's.
Until we meet again Cuz, Take care and remember always I love you.
