She was grandmother to 6 and great grandmother to 5,she lost a stepgreatgrandson Keith Chandler in July of 1991, drowing accident. Her grandson Ryan Gilliam passed March 14 2001. Much Loved and missed mother and best friend. Mom was a sweet, gentle and kind lady who would give of herself to others all the time. She loved people and children. She had a hard life with my dad. But she would still carry on and take care and love four kids. She was always there for us and I could always count on her. She did not work out of the home. Our home was perfect all the time. She was my friend and confidant as long as I could remember. I could talk to her about anything. She had alot of friends who adored her.She was a bird and dog lover and could identify almost all the birds up in Boyds Wa. where she lived. Her love for bowling was unreal. She was on several bowling leagues in Missouri and Wa. She was a very creative woman. She could arrange flowers so beautifully. Mom was also a fabulous cook. Mom was a real lady who everyone liked. Never said a bad thing about anyone. She was a model in Illinois for Patrica Stevens modeling agency when she was a girl in Chicago Heights Illinois. She also worked as a lithographer until she had children. After my father passed she went to work at K-Mart in Missouri as the housewares dept head. She ordered things and stocked the shelves until her legs got bad. But she never gave up her bowling. Cause of death lung cancer
