My great-grandmother Mary was the daughter of Riley Lam and step-daughter of Manassa Freed. She married Ernest Kuykendall in 1917 and had these children: Dorman, William, Hayes, Leoda Abendschoen, Blaine, Ray, Thomas, Juanita Snoots, Paul and Ernest Jr., plus two infants.
Mary and Ernest were farmers in Peru, Hardy Co., West Virginia. After he died, she moved to a small place in the nearby town of Moorefield and lived her final years there.
