Kevin was my greatest love. I met him about 11 years ago and he became a very close friend of mine. He was a special friend. He would say, I love you as he was leaving. I never had a friend like that.
Kevin was father to Kelly, Tracy, Matthew and our daughter, Grace and step-father to Douglas. Loving grandfather of Rayanne, Aiden, and Shayleigh who were born after his death.
He left us on July 3, 2005.
Kevin was born in Oceanside, New York, son of Margaret and Edward
Buchanan. He grew up in Valley Stream and later moved to Oyster Bay where his parents moved in the late 1980's. Loving brother of Frank, Edward and Elizabeth.

"If I could have a lifetime wish
A dream that would come true
I'd pray to God with all my heart
For yesterday and you
A thousand words can't bring you back
I know because I've tried
And neither will a million tears
I know because I've cried
You left behind my broken heart
And happy memories too
I never wanted memories
I only wanted you."

"Author Unknown"

I have memories of you in my pocket,
they rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry
where ever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts
of a beautiful whole.
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so
much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, its the memories
of you that are the most precious.

"Author Unknown"

You never said you were leaving
You never said goodbye
You were gone before I knew it
And only God knows why
A million times I needed you
A million times I cried
If love alone could have saved you
You never would have died
In life I loved you dearly and in
Death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place
That know one could ever fill
It broke my heart to lose you
But you did not go alone
For part of me went with you
The day God took you home.
