Ethel was known to all as "Mickey". She was the daughter of Eckford Underwood and Queen Edmonds. She married Raymond Gaddy on November 10, 1945 in Chicago. They had no children. She worked for AC Spark Plug for 9 years, and was a member of the Clio O.E.S. and the Clio Community Church. She was the sister of Alice, Ruby, Carl, James, Roy, and Hubert.
