August 1, 1930 - October 4, 2009
SALEM - Jeanne Eden passed away on October 4, 2009. Jeanne was the daughter of Opal Harland Gettman and Elwood Gettman. Jeanne was born in Salem, Ore. and was a life long resident here. She attended Salem Public Schools, graduating from North Salem High School as a member of The Honor Society in 1948. She spent many years working in the optical and health care field. Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Tracie Lynn Sheldrake; son, David Grant Mills; granddaughter, Ashlie Lynn Sheldrake; and a younger sister, Kathy Failmezger of Milwaukie, Ore. A Memorial service was held at Belcrest Chapel in Salem on Thursday, October 8, 2009.
