Marlene was the widow of Clyde L Wallace who passed away 17 June 1981 in Antelope Co., Nebraska and the daughter of Leonard J. Weiland who passed away on 27 Feb 1983 in Grand Island, Nebraska and Mabel Elizabeth Spiegle Weiland who passed away on 22 Oct 1999 in Reseda, California. She is survived by two daughters, one son, a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.

Marlene and her husband will be buried at Westlawn Memorial in Grand Island, Nebraska but they are not yet there. (2/2013)

Marlene was a member of P.E.O.(Philanthropic Educational Organization), The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Col. Nathaniel Pope Chapter, Colonial Dames 17th Century. Marlene's offices in the Fernanda Maria Chapter were: 2 terms as 1st Vice Regent, Librarian/Membership and 2 terms as Treasurer.
