We first met back in 1943 as members of Radio Denmark's boys' choir and remained friends ever since. "Ludo", as he was called among friends, lived a colourful life always brimming over with ideas and joie de vivre. He was known by everybody as a singer, entertainer, lyricist, vacuum cleaner salesman, photographer, etc., but it was always the singing and the music that was of primary importance to him. Together with his musical friends he recorded several discs. Ludo was buried at Østre Kirkegaard in Nykøbing Falster.
