Preceded in death by: parents, Hilaria Vasquez and Juan Gauna; daughter, Oralia Rios; son, Andres; son-in-law, Alfredo Carvajal; sister, Refugia Griego; grandson, David Gauna.
Survivors: wife of 81 years, Andrea Rodriguez Gauna, whom he married Dec. 2, 1921; sons, Juan Gauna (Paulita), Jose Gauna, and Isidro Gauna Jr. (Pauline); daughters, Maria Erlinda Carvajal, Hilaria Cooper (James), and Alice Morales (Andrew); 29 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Rosary: Wednesday, Aug. 6, in the Vinyard Funeral Home in Floresville.
Mass: Thursday in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville, with Father Stefan Wiera officiating.
Pallbearers: grandsons, Gary Cooper, Gilbert Rios, Rene Morales, Eloy Carvajal, Bobby Gauna, and Andrew Gauna.
