Ethel fought and won breast cancer. Later in life Ethel developed alzheimer's disease which later took her life at the age of 82. Ethel is deeply missed by her family.

Ethel Hilda Comstock, of Scranton Pa,
died today at home following a lengthy illness.
She was the widow of Joseph Comstock, who died in 1980.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late
John and Annie Hahn Klingel. She was of the Protestant faith.
Surviving are two daughters, Lorraine Bachman,
with whom she resided with, and Gae Valenti,
Scranton; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Richard; three sisters and two brothers.
The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. from the Howard J. Snowdon Funeral Home, 1810 Sanderson Ave., with services by the Rev, Harold K. Hatton, Scranton Interment, Dunmore Cemetry.
Friends may call Thursday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
