3rd daughter of Mary Nell & C.E. Shoopman. Married George Stoner in 1976. Had 2 daughters, Kim & Dani. Divorced in 1986.Evelyn was a singer with The Sisters Four. They appeared on the Clayton Startime Show in the Knoxville area for many years. She married Steve Buck Dec.1990. Evelyn was my mother. She was not only a wonderful mother but a good wife and friend. She not only grabbed people's attention with her beautiful voice but also with her joking nature and charming way. Soon after she and Steve married, she began suffering from seizures. The doctors discovered a brain aneurysm. The night before the surgery was scheduled, the aneurysm ruptured. Mom was left in a coma. She did not recover. She left behind many family members and friends whom loved her dearly. My only wish is that she could have lived long enough to see her 5 grandchildren. I know she is filling heaven with her beautiful music and I look forward to hearing it again one day. We love & miss you mom! A special thank you goes to Mr. Edward Leffew, for sponsoring mom's page! Another very special thank you to Ms. Darlene Moseley for the wonderful pics of mom's grave!
