Belinda Huffman-Folsom, 59, of Ft. Worth, formerly of Walnut Springs, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, in a Fort Worth hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, at the Lawson Memorial Chapel in Walnut Springs. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the Chapel.

Belinda Marie was born in Baytown, Texas, to Bill and Betty Huffman. At a young age, her family moved to Walnut Springs where she was raised. She graduated from Walnut Springs High School in 1968. In 1978, she graduated from Hill Junior College and received her vocational nursing certificate and was licensed that same year. Her first job was at Johnson County Memorial Hospital in Cleburne in 1978, where she was a surgical nurse until 1985, when she began working with the elderly in care centers and nursing homes from 1985 until retiring in 2007 due to ill health.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tiffani Terese Klarich; and her father.

Survivors include daughter, Shannon Marie Berlinger, and husband, Scott, of Nemo; son, Clayton Daniel Folsom, and wife, Amanda, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Johnnie Addison, Austin Cody, Marshall Wayne, and Faithlyn Laraedo; mother, Betty Huffman, of Glen Rose; brother, Johnny Huffman, of Clifton; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
