Doris Lundgren Fisher, 85, most beloved by her family, lost her long battle with Alzheimer's Disease the morning of July 27, 2005. Born in an April snow storm on a farm near Lostwood, North Dakota, she left for Los Angeles at the age of 21. There she met her destiny in James Howard Fisher. They married six months later in Las Vegas on the 4th of July. The warmth and love in their relationship radiated to all they knew. Together 64 years and 3 weeks, they raised two loving and loved children. As the wife of the Air Force pilot that her husband became, Doris lived all over the United States; and after she retired from the Texas Youth Council, they traveled extensively abroad. As a member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church of Austin, she was active in Daughters of the King. Doris's sweet nature and sense of humor survived even the ravages of Alzheimer's. She will be missed beyond description. Cherished Mother of Linda K. & James H.
