GEORGE W. WRIGHT
-- FORT MILL - George W. Wright, 71, of 160 Steele Ave., died today at his home.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 4 p.m. at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia, N.C. The Rev. W.A. Calbert will officiate. Burial Will be in Hollywood Cemetery in Gastonia.

Mr. Wright was a retired employee of Springs Mills.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Effie Ramsey Wright; Three sons, Carl Luther Wright, James Herbert Wright and George Wayne Wright, all of Fort Mill; two daughters, Mrs. Darla Jean Ash and Mrs. Patsy Ann Pope, both of Fort Mill; two sisters, Mrs. Lou Humphries of Belvedere, S.C., and Mrs. Daisy Pelot of Washington, D.C.; three half-brothers, Coleman, Johnny and Ira Wright, all of Lancaster and eight grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 to 9 at Carothers Funeral Home.
