She married first Raymond (Ray) Cornwell 21 September 1910. After his death in 1918, she married Othello Rector Stanfield on 17 January 1920 in Robinson, Crawford Co, IL. She died of colon cancer.

Mrs. Oma Stanfield, 85, Route 1, West Union, died Thursday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rosemary Daughterty, also of Route 1, West Union.

She is survived by four sons, Forrest Stanfield of Kingsley, Iowa, Kenneth Stanfield, Garnet Cornwell of Route 1, West York, Ralph Cornwell of Fresno, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Rosemary Daugherty, Mrs. Ruby Goss of Jacksonville, Mrs. Betty Richards of Route 1, Annapolis; 25 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Stanfield was a member of the West Union Christian Church.

Services were Sunday at 2 p.m. at West Union Christian Church. Burial was in Bailiff Cemetery with Rev. Dan Bird officiating.

Prust-Hosch Funeral Chapel was in charge of funeral arrangements.
