She looks like she was one sweet lady.
The type of lady you would call Grandma even if she wasn't your Grandma.
We don't really know much about her. She died a few days before my husband turned a year old. Other than that we don't know much about her.
John & I think that we would've gotten along with her wonderfully, just knowing the life she lived. All the pictures you see of her she has a nice happy face. If she is with one or more of her grandchildren she is beaming.
Her home was in a beautiful valley in rural Ohio. That beautiful valley has now been strip mined.
Daughter of I. F. Hill & Miriam Alice Jones.
Wife of John Henry Davis.
Mother of Ida Mae (Tom) Nutt, John Henry Davis Jr., & Franklin Dale (Nancy) Davis.
She was widowed at a young age and never remarried.
She raised her daughter & 2 sons on her own. Her life was not an easy one but you could tell she brought up her children with a lot of love just by the people they turned out to be.
