Ruby Odell Hayes,Daughter of Noah and Emma (Hill) Bagley passed away Monday Night Feb.20,2006.Funeral will be Thursday Feb.23,2006.burial will be in Sumach Cemetery.Murray Co.Ga. Love Funeral Home of Dalton GA. is in charge. She was preceded in death by parents Noah and Emma Bagley,sister Ruby Lee Cauley,baby brother died at birth,sister-in-law Faye Bagley. Odell is the wife of John Hayes (55 years) Mother of Debra and grandmother of Dana Hayes. Four brothers and one sister. We are not sure yet what went wrong, Odell was not sick enough for this to happen, Things just kept going bad while in the hospital. The last day while I was with her she was sitting up in a chair and just stopped breathing.They got her back but all day her blood pressure would not stay up. It looks like God said she had been here long enough it's time for her to come home.We have to accept that.
Odell had a lot of health problem but was a fighter,she had two heart valve replacements and battled cancer twice. but she always had a positive out look and worked in her church so faithful. She had a large church family and a lot of friends.
Odell loved butterflies,she had a big collection of them ,all colors and sizes most any where she went you would find a butterfly sitting on her shoulder.I believe she will send a butterfly around me to let me know she is near.
