Harvey was the son of Marvin Bud and Mabel Lee (Butler) Capps. He graduated from Tushka High School in 1944. He married Marie (Watson) on October 2, 1944, at Duncan, Oklahoma. He was a WWII Veteran and a rancher. He was a member of local Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. Harvey was a member of the South Atoka Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting and his favorite fishing hole was Hugo Lake. Harvey and his wife Marie owned and operated the Dairy Dream in Atoka from 1963 to 1974. He is survived by his children, Larry Capps and wife Jarena of Sherman, TX and James Capps and wife Kenda of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Larry Capps and wife Jarena of Sherman, TX, James Capps and wife Kenda of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Kevin Capps and wife Kim of Howe, TX, Keith Capps of Altus, OK, Kimberly Seay and husband Jason of Durant, OK, Jeremy Capps and wife Leah of Sherman, TX and Kaylee Capps of Atoka, OK; great grandchildren, Tyler, Jesika, Brad, Brooke, Makayla and Braden Capps and Jackson and Mason Seay. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marie Capps; and a grandson, Steven Lee Capps. Services will be Monday, Dec. 27, 2010 at 10 am at Brown's Funeral Chapel with Bro. Robert Griffin officiating. Interment will be at Tushka Cemetery.
