Beloved son of J. William Fudge and Mary McClellan Fudge. Beloved husband of Mary June Moore Fudge. Beloved father of: Peggy Lou Fudge and Virginia Ann Fudge. Beloved brother of: Charlotte Fudge King, Susan Fudge DeHaven, Mary Ann Fudge Howe, Jane Fudge, John William Fudge, and Lawrence Fudge.

Roscoe married Mary June Moore on December 23, 1937. He and Cecil Huston operated a city bus line in Xenia, Ohio for many years. Mr. Fudge was working for NCR (National Cash Register Co.) in Dayton, Ohio when he was inducted into the army on January 27, 1944.

Roscoe served in Company F of the 101st Regiment, 26 Infantry, 3rd Division of the United States of America Army. After his induction in 1944, he was stationed at Camp Blanding, Florida before going overseas.

Roscoe was wounded in battle in France on November 27, 1944. He died of his wounds the next day, November 28, 1944. His remains were sent back to his widow in August of 1948. Roscoe was buried in Woodland Cemetery in September of 1948.
