Born in Lakeland, FL on November 30, 1941, he was a lifelong resident of Polk County. He was a maintenance mechanic with Seminole Fertilizer. He was a deacon at the Springhead Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Coon, Mulberry; daughters, Cyrena Coon and Sabrina Coon, both of Mulberry; mother, Cyrena Coon Warren , Mulberry; brothers,Thomas M. Coon
and Joseph Coon, both of Mulberry; and sisters, Sandra Meyers and Judy Cosgrove, both of Mulberry.
