Dr.Culosi was shot and killed instantly with a bullet through his heart by a Fairfax County SWAT team police officer while serving a routine document search warrant. Dr. Culosi was not armed and no one can understand why a SWAT team was there to serve the warrant. His body was sent to the hospital and the Fairfax police would not allow the social worker to notify the family. Dr. Culosi could not receive his last rites, being a devout Catholic, and his family did not see his body for 2 days. Since his death, the family of Dr. Culosi has not had any of their questions answered by the police department of Fairfax.
